JUNIOR DUTY MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS:

* Candidates must hold a Level 7 or higher qualification in one of
the following Disciplines:

* Social Care
* Community Development
* Hospitality

* Candidates must have over 3 years’ experience in one of the
following sectors:

* Social Care
* Community Development
* Hospitality

* Candidates must have a proven track record while continuously
holding a role in the same organisation for a period of no less than 2
years.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

* _STAFF SUPERVISION:_ The Junior Duty Manager will assist the
Senior Duty manager ensuring the supervision of all staff working at
the property, including subcontracted employees. They will assist in
ensuring that all staff members understand their roles and
responsibilities and provide guidance and support as needed.
* _CLIENT RELATIONS: _The Junior Duty manager will work closely with
the Senior Duty manager in building and maintaining positive
relationships with clients.
* _FACILITY MANAGEMENT:_ The Junior Duty manager will work with the
Senior Duty manager in overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the
facility, ensuring any maintenance issues are addressed in a timely
manner.
* _RISK ASSESSMENT AND MITIGATION:_ The Junior Duty manager will
work with the Senior Duty manager, assisting in the identification of
potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate,
thereby maintaining the safety and security of the facility.
* _COMPLIANCE AND REGULATIONS:_ The Junior Duty manager will work
with the Senior Duty manager in ensuring compliance with relevant
laws, regulations, and industry standards.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

* _LEADERSHIP SKILLS:_ Strong leadership abilities with the
capability to motivate and guide a diverse team in high-pressure
situations. Proven track record of making sound decisions quickly,
prioritising tasks effectively, and delegating responsibilities
efficiently.
* _COMMUNICATION SKILLS:_ Excellent verbal and written communication
skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and
concisely. Proficiency in interpersonal skills to liaise effectively
with staff, clients, and external stakeholders from diverse cultural
backgrounds.
* _PROBLEM-SOLVING AND DECISION-MAKING:_ Demonstrated ability to
think critically, analyse situations swiftly, and make informed
decisions under pressure. Proven aptitude in problem-solving, conflict
resolution, and the ability to handle emergencies calmly and
efficiently.
* _TECHNICAL COMPETENCE: _Proficiency in using relevant technology,
security systems, and software for monitoring, reporting, and managing
incidents. Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response
procedures and all applicable compliance standards.
